UB Hacking is University at Buffalo's official student-run hackathon. Students are invited to gather at our event to create cool and innovative projects within 24 hours and showcase their achievements. Just bring your laptop (and other personal hygiene products) and we'll prepare the food and swag for a memorable weekend!

UB Hacking First Place

The first place team will receive a total of $1,000.

UB Hacking Second Place

The second place team will receive a total of $500.

UB Hacking Third Place

The third place team will receive a total of $250.

Best Freshman Hack

The Best Freshman Hack team will receive a total prize of $200 and will be awarded to a team made up of only freshmen!

Lead-a-Newbie Prize

The Lead-a-Newbie team will receive a total prize of $200 and will be awarded to a team where over half of the members have never been to a hackathon before!
